While it is too late for @TTFurcon this year with their event days away, I would like to call for them to no longer support Safari's Sanctuary going forward.

In this thread, I will document their issues with mistreating their animals as well as their ties with Joe Exotic.🧵

First, let's get the largest pile of evidence out of the way. Most of these complaints are much older, but show a history of animal abuse.

The situation surrounding an employee who was mauled by a liger named "Rocky" will become important in a moment.

That incident involved being in a cage with the liger while it was eating.

Lori Ensign who runs the facility claims doing this is dangerous and goes against policy for Safari's Sanctuary. Well...

Here she is on video as recently as 2017 engaging in the exact same behaviors that got one of her employees killed.

Here she is allowing a photographer into a cage with another liger using only a leash for safety. The man barely managed to avoid being mauled himself.

She has also allegedly allowed minors into a cage with animals for movie nights which is incredibly dangerous and unsafe.

This comes as no surprise though, Lori is often shown treating these big animals more like pets than the incredibly powerful and dangerous creatures they are.

This is a pattern of behavior that goes way back, with her even allegedly allowing two small children to lay down next to a 40-pound tiger cub.

She also doesn't keep said cub away from other smaller, defenseless animals.

Here are more pictures of her allowing the same practices that got one of her employees killed.

Here is Lori hand feeding an animal, the thing she says is not allowed at Safari Sanctuary, and lead to an employee being killed.

And here is the same practice taking place just one year after her the death of said employee.

Lori claims that many of her animals are rescued, but this is not the case. Lori has ties with Joe Exotic, yes THE Joe Exotic from the famous Tiger King documentary.

It has also been alleged that Lori and her ex-husband provided alcohol to underaged teenagers before attempting to convince them to have sex.

Let it be noted that this is also the charity that @AWOOAssociation has chosen to work with for Free Fur All.

Peacewolf, who incorporated the group alongside her husband, has been shown to volunteer there previously.

We'll keep it brief: it's obvious Safari's Sanctuary doesn't care about the company it keeps. From Joe Exotic to Peacewolf who has associated with Neo Nazis, a zoophile who has called for the genocide of transgender people, and QAnon supporters, Lori doesn't care.

Here, I would like to call for guests of honor like @OmnomThenom, @splatfennec, and @peppercoyote as well as business and artists participating in their dealer's den to use their sway with the convention to help push for this change.

This would include folks like @FireWolfStudio1, @PistolPie, @Boltie_, @OurMassHysteria, @ETampura, @inky_paw, @cubs_wolf, @ArtzoraStudios, and @Inanimorphs.

Anyone else that is attending the convention and would like the funds they donate to go to another charity should be sure to have their voices heard.

Things won't change unless people raise awareness and show they want them to be different.

If people want a suggestion for who they should change to, I'd recommend Canine Companions which has a branch that runs out of Oklahoma.

UPDATE: New allegations that the owner of Safari Sanctuary. It seems Lori may have been allowing furry orgies to take place in front of the animals or with them present.
