I was told by a few sources that Elon is holding a Tesla all hands meeting as we speak. I will let you know if anything interesting is shared.
I'm just gonna live tweet it. Here are a few things Elon has said so far:
• GF Berlin, Oct approval.
• Tesla is going to spell Tesla on GF Austin roof
for planes landing on airport near by.
• He is praising the Tesla team for their hard work
• "FSD 10 is quite profound, a revelation, is the future; V10 next week and “button request” 2 weeks after that" Elon said
• Elon said Tesla is considering Model 2 not having steering wheel and pedals and just roll the dice on FSD
• Tesla won't call the $25k model the "Model2". "Only did Model 3 cause Ford had model E trademark so we just did model 3 to troll them"
• Open charging network very soon, starting maybe next month using Tesla app. It will start in Europe.
• The Cybertruck has been delayed to late 2022. "Production starting late 2022 and volume production in 2023"
• Elon is expecting to grow by a factor of 10 at least
• Elon is maybe going to Mars in about 10 years he said
Grow Tesla by a factor of 10 that is.
• Robo Van in the future, to address people with disability.
The call just ended.
I want to retract part of the CT statement. The Cybertruck isn't "delayed". The CT just has a more definitive timeline. Tesla stated weeks ago that CT prod had been moved to 2022. Elon confirmed that. Makes sense that volume prod would be in 2023. It's a new vehicle technology.

As much as you all want me to keep the Plaid S I ordered, it’s just too expensive for me lol. So there are 2 options I can take. First is to cancel the order and eat the $250 and consider it a gift to Tesla lol. The second is to take delivery and flip the car. What should I do?
I can take delivery and flip, I just can’t take delivery and keep (unfortunately 🥲).
Since this tweet went up, 10 new Plaids have been purchased from inventory around the US! Would be shocked if the remaining 47 weren’t gone within 48 hours.
BREAKING: I was tipped off to there being brand new Plaid S inventory in the NY Metro area. I checked & it's true there were 9 vehicles available. I was still unconvinced so I tried to order one. The order went through. I got a RN, VIN # and an est delivery date of Aug 28th.

So at this point I was still sorta in shock. I just called Tesla as they told me it's a legit order and told me congrats. I said how is it fair that I can order one like this and the car isn't reassigned to a reservation holder. They didn't have much of an answer.

I have found Plaid S inventory around following area:
• Chicago
• Orlando
• NY Metro
• Los Angeles
• Bay Area
• Atlanta
• Phoenix
I stopped searching after those locations. SOOOOO crazy. Thx @bvTechie for the tip!
NEWS: Adam Jonas Just Put Out An Extensive 17 page Research Report on $TSLA Aviation:
"The chance that Tesla doesn't ultimately offer products & services to the eVTOL/UAM market is remote. The potential skills transferability & network adjacencies are too strong to ignore"
1/17
"Based on our global eVTOL/UAM model (a $9tn TAM by 2050), discounted back to the present on a per-share basis, we’re coming up with potential preliminary outcomes on the order of $100 per Tesla share on low-end to approximately $1,000 per Tesla share (or more) on the high end."
NEWS: @TroyTeslike shared some info on his Patreon from his sources:
1: Tesla will start exporting Model Y from China to Europe in early Q3 2021. The reason that was mentioned was that there is a big MY order backlog in Europe and there are some delays with Giga Berlin
1/5
so Tesla wants to start deliveries with exports. Also, Model Y production in Shanghai will ramp up in Q3, and production targets are very high for Q3 and Q4 but no specific number was mentioned.
2: Model S Plaid will be exported to Europe in October.
2/5
3: Tesla is still planning to shut down Model Y production at Fremont when Giga Texas starts making the Model Y 2.0. However, they are now considering whether the shutdown will be temporary or permanent.
