Prices that people pay from being and left domestic violence; living 40% under the poverty line just because they got away from the abuse
The Ontario government doesn’t help women being in this situation. I truly believe this because they cancelled a program called ‘Criminal Injury Compensation Board’ just before cancelling this program I was awarded 2 yrs of therapy to a therapist that I had chosen
Seeing the same therapist is crucial for the well being of the abused. Each time they go into an office for help they keep on seeing someone different which causes the abused more harm than good. The abused keeps reliving the violence. For example Catholic Family Life in Barrie
