NFTs on the Internet Computer are going to be huge. Core benefits for IC NFTs over other chains:
1. All assets on chain
2. No gas fees to mint/transact
3. Cheap storage costs ($5/GB/year)

This lets us do all sorts of crazy things with NFTs. Here comes a mega-thread 💥

1. The Mystery Box NFT

Wrap 8-year staked neurons, DKT tokens, DSCVR tokens, and ICP into a single NFT. Then transfer ownership of all assets in a single transaction.

You could even set rules for under what conditions the NFT could be wrapped (age, social verification, etc.)

2. The AI NFT

Put @OpenAI's GPT-3 model in an NFT, and have it fine tune over time based on your interactions.

You are essentially training it to be a personal assistant, which could then be helpful to you or marketed/sold (easily transferred) to others.

3. The Tamagotchi NFT

An entire virtual pet in an NFT (code/logic/etc.)

Must feed it consumables / can dress it up with wearables, and can interact with other items by sending other NFTs to your Tamagotchi NFT. Can change over time (age-based logic/evolution).

4. The NFTree

Exactly as it sounds. You start with a seed and have to grow a tree.

Have to stake your NFT to get sunlight. Buy water/nutrients as consumables.

Just wait until your tree starts growing fruit and planting more trees though! A p2e game built entirely in an NFT.

5. The Virtual Economy NFT

Buy a virtual NFT plot of land. Stake NFTs to build a house. Put NFTs on display. Hold community events in your virtual house (chat/video).

Leverage 3rd party APIs to mint your own NFTs to add value to virtual world. Create virtual business for NFTs.

6. The Business in an NFT

Host website on the IC. Put only website controller in the NFT. Set revenue to accrue directly in NFT. Handle domain/DNS/etc in the NFT.

List NFT on marketplace and in what would be the most efficient business sale of all time -> just 2 clicks.

7. The Index Fund NFT

Put interest bearing or appreciating assets in a single NFT as the fund. Then fractionalize ownership of the NFT with tokens. Buy tokens to receive a portion of the value generated by the NFT over time, or sell your ownership at any time.

8. The Viral NFT

Modify token rules -> if you send 1 token, they get 1 token, and you get 2. Incentivizes sharing to new people. Ownership tracked, so if they share again, you get more token.

Once you have 1k tokens, burn them to mint an NFT and move to next virus (level 2)

9. The Creator DAO NFT

Get group of people to build something together. Issue creator governance token. Holders vote on roadmap, earn rewards, and own a piece of future upside. Issue NFTs to gate access, reward contributions, and store assets, all managed by the Creator DAO.

10. The KYC NFT

KYC is mandatory for some money services businesses in the US. So do a KYC process and issue an NFT that asserts you are from a specific country. This is non-transferable and can be verified whenever a 3rd party app needs to KYC. Would save a ton of headache.

11. The Access NFT

Fund a movie by selling NFTs. Must own the NFT to watch the show.

Create an exclusive community. Must own NFT to join.

Create virtual world. Must own metakey to get access.

12. The Personal NFT

Issue an NFT that gives others access, input, & ownership into what you do, build, and earn. Essentially, you are giving other people an opportunity to invest in you & your future.

Could allow voting, give them access to exclusive comm. channels, etc.

I'm going to continue adding to this list over time to make this mega-thread even better, but I'll take a break for now to get some community ideas.
