Why mint via a bot instead of through a UI? Most NFT drops have a limited number of items avail to mint. It's your job to get one (or many) of those scarce jpegs. To do this, you need your transaction(s) to be prioritized in the mempool and picked up before the drop sells out.

If you go through a UI, you're only as fast as your client and you have to manually choose gas params. This leads to a cycle of trial and error where you're guessing the gas amount needed w/o overpaying. Sites for estimating gas exist but don't always update in time.

A bot is significantly faster because you're interacting directly with the chain and the process of selecting gas params is automated. You just read the mempool and iteratively re-set the gas price and gas limit so your transaction is included by miners. 🚀💥
