Ever wonder what #PYTH stands for in @PythNetwork ? I did and it's genius. Turns out that in the 8th century BC the "Pythia" was the name of the high priestess of the Temple of Apollo at Delphi who also served as the oracle (commonly known as the Oracle of Delphii)...
Pythia was widely credited for her prophecies. During this period the Delphic Oracle was the most prestigious and authoritative oracle among the Greeks, and Pythia was without doubt the most powerful woman of the classical world!
When a protocol goes to such lengths to name itself with such clever historical significance, it is definitely worth a deeper look. @PythNetwork is building the oracle of oracles and I highly suggest you read up and join the community. pyth.network
