I'm pumped for the creator economy.

A lot of times, you just hear about #NFTs and pixel art and jpegs, almost meme-like.

But many haven't yet discovered the massive piece of the iceberg still underwater.

Less than a fraction of a percent of the art world is pixel art, generative, <insert trendy word here> jpeg on a limited print run.

Let's be clear - those are still awesome. I own (too many) #VPunks and it's a blast.

But it's not even the 101 course.

See, the rage is creation of scarcity and community, both of which are real and tangible.

Like @garyvee has said, though, supply will outrun demand (basic economic theory), and that's healthy.

But below the surface of the water... The iceberg is not created scarcity.

3/n
Real scarcity is what creates massive value.

Have you considered a famed artist who has passed who only created, say, 3,792 works of art, which have never been digitized? 🧐

Not even a computer hack or bad algorithm or right-click-save can bring him back to create more.

4/n
What about historically relevant photography?

There can only ever be one moment in time where a picture could be taken which captures a national or global significance.

That's momentary scarcity.

Sports, politics, weddings... moments in time.

5/n
Creators also go through lots of work without publishing.

Not every rendering gets sold. Not every lyric gets sung. Not every animation gets shown. Not every cut gets released.

Build in public has not yet reached the blockchain, and the storyline will be massive.

6/n
Guys and gals, we're not even at utility yet.

Again, the meme is jpegs. Galleries. Look how cool this is. 👀

It's not yet "Look at what this does!" though one can argue we're beginning to scratch the surface.

7/n
#NFTs and their descendants (yes, there will be derivatives) are going to become much more functional, practical, exclusive, and interactive.

The life cycle won't be the original mint + flip, flip, hold.

They will be owned, not flipped. Used, not stored.

8/n
The creators who figure out how to hit the market with something captivating and inspiring and fun can do well.

But the creators who build novel, playful, important, and timely works will do better.

Creators who shift the paradigm will be Legends.

9/n
When creators start to build something you actually *have* to have, not just *ultimately desire* because it's trendy...

When the story is more important than the creation...

The ice berg will start to roll over.

Certain things in life require maximum speed of execution and intense patience in deployment.

Just remember, it's a marathon, not a sprint.

And nobody sees all the training leading up to the marathon in the first place.
But that's what makes it special.

The culmination of not just meeting needs and expectations, but doing it right and making it the best.

Under promise, over deliver.
I'm exited to say, in any case, progress is progress.

Big things gonna happen.
