When Noor returned from Lebanon she was stopped by a security officer who said:

“Why did you leave Syria? Because you don’t like Bashar al-Assad...You’re a terrorist.”

The officer then raped Noor and her 5 year old daughter in a small room.

In April 2021, @amnesty reported how at least 380 refugees, including children, have been informed that they will have to return to #Syria after #Denmark deemed Damascus & its surrounding area safe for return Forcing them back would put them at real risk amnesty.org/en/latest/news…

Amnesty documented horrific violations in the Damascus region - an area the Danish govt has declared safe for returns.

By ignoring the reality on the ground, #Denmark is putting 100s of Syrian refugees at risk.
