Little Nie Cheng was the apple of his family's eyes. Small, chubby, bright and affectionate, the little baby had his papa, mama and older brothers wrapped around his precious, tiny fingers. A-cheng was a very smart and well behaved baby. He was also very active - something

Zhengyong and Mingjue adored and also very vocal - something Ziyuan and Huaisang loved to praise - citing that their little A-cheng was the smartest baby ever! Smarter than even Mingjue's friend's (Xichen-ge's) little brother who was 3 and still didn't really speak.

Last night, Mama Yu and her friends Madam Jin and Madam Lan had left for a 3 days, 2 night 'girl's trip' - (something Zhengyong had prepared in secret for his wife with the help of the two other women in question so that she could relax and enjoy herself at the Spa).

Suffice to say that both Madam Jin and Lan were full of praises for Ziyuan's good fortune - claiming Zhengyong was definitely a much better upgrade from Fengmian.

"It's like you've finally went from an 8 track player to spotify premium." Madam Jin gushed once she and Madam Lan

had successfully spirited Ziyuan away - the purple clad woman only getting to barely kiss her boys goodbye with a call of 'be good!' and 'take care of A-cheng!'.

-- 8 a.m. --

Huaisang and Mingjue were up watching Saturday morning cartoons when they heard the telltale fussing

noises coming from their parents room. Immediately A-jue and A-sang scuttled towards the room - pushing the door open and peeking inside. The room was still dark, curtains drawn to block out all the light. A-cheng's frog shaped nightlight was the only other source of light in the

room. Zhengyong was still sleeping, face buried in the pillows as his muffled snores cause Huaisang to giggle. In the crib next to the bed, they could barely see chubby arms and legs waving about as A-cheng fussed about; occasionally letting out little coos and cries.

"Gege! A-cheng wants out." Huaisang spoke as he rushed over to the crib to peek at his baby brother; putting his hands through the bars and letting out a little giggle as A-cheng grabbed a hold of his finger in his tiny grip. Mingjue - feeling his big brother instinct flare up,

wasted no time in approaching the crib and gently lifting A-cheng up; holding him carefully - just like how mama and papa showed him. Almost immediately little A-cheng stopped fussing, the baby cooing at being held before planting a drooly kiss over Mingjue's chin - making him

laugh while A-sang whined about wanting a kiss too! Carrying the baby out of the room so they didn't disturb papa, Mingjue brought A-cheng into the living room before carefully sitting him on his special chair.

"Morning A-cheng." Huaisang cooed, planting kisses all over the

baby's face. "Auoooh!" A-cheng let out a giggly shriek as he waved his little fist around; almost taking out A-sang's eye. (Ofc Huaisang forgave his baby brother. He was just too cute and small! He was A-sang's little cutie pie!)

"Here you go, A-cheng. Your doggy." Minjue spoke

as he handed his littlest brother the small plush dog he and Huaisang picked up for him. The baby's round, charming eyes lit up in joy as he grabbed onto the toy with a happy sound; giving his brothers a big, gummy smile before shoving the toy into his mouth.

"Gege... A-cheng is so cute. My heart stopped." Huaisang whined, dramatically clutching at his chest as he watched his little brother with adoration. Mingjue wasn't in any better shape; cooing as he reached out to stroke A-cheng's head. Despite only being 6 months old, A-cheng

has an impressive amount of soft, whispy black hair on his head. Mama and A-sang liked to put little hairbands on A-cheng - especially the ones with the little puppies and frog patterns.

"A-sang, you watch over A-cheng for a bit. I'm going to fix him a bottle."

"Okay gege!"

While Mingjue headed off to the kitchen to make A-cheng his bottle, Huaisang ran across the room to the toy chest and brought out a plush duck. Bringing it back to A-chen, he smiled big at the curious baby who was still gnawing on his puppy doll before brandishing the duck.

"A-cheng, look!" A-sang said proudly. Hearing his brother's excited voice, little A-cheng also felt excited as he smiled and thew his little hands ups with an excited cry of his own.

"Aohh!!!"

Giggling, Huaisang turned the duck toy over and pressed a button before putting it

down on the floor. A-cheng's silvery-blue eyes were fixed on the toy duck in utter fascination. Trying to reach for the toy, A-cheng's face scunched up and he let out a disgruntled cry when he couldn't grasp the toy.

"Au-awoo."

"Au-awooo!" a higher pitched cry came from the

duck; shocking little A-cheng as Huaisang giggled at the cute scene.

"Ahh- woou-ohh!" Little A-cheng babbled louder.

"Ahhh- wooouu -oohhh!" the toy screeched lounder. Seemingly dissatisfied at being copied, A-cheng continued to babble louder still - as if fighting with the toy

on who could be louder. A-sang watched with glee - taking his papa's phone from the coffee table to record the funny scene. The loud shreiks manage to finally draw out Zhengyong from the bedroom and Mingjue from the kitchen; the older Nie's also unable to help their laughter as

they watched Huaisang push the screaming toy closer to A-cheng; the baby grabbing the toy and bitting it in anger - letting out an almighty cry before throwing the toy aside. Somehow it landed 'just right', turning the button off and leaving A-cheng the victor of the 'fight'; the

6 month old looking incredibly proud of himself as he lifted both chubby arms in the air-as if to proclaim his victory.
