So a source familiar with the charity tells me that the charity has wanted to change the name for a long time, and the change was agreed to only after consultation with trustees, fellows – and as stated by Soames on the website by the family itself
What The Sun is doing is weaponising Churchill to fight its own little culture war. It's they who are doing this and it's literally at odds with what Churchill's own family and the guardians of his legacy want
