GW 3 Notes - Teams 📝

🟠 Wolves with another good performance, but yet again a 1-0 loss.

🔵 Chelsea - Showed great defensive stability despite being one man down at Anfield. Chelsea can keep a CS against anyone.

⚪️ Spurs - Didn’t really impress, but secured 3 points again.
GW 3 Notes - Players 📝

💎 Torres - 2 goals and 1 assist playing as a striker for Man City 👀

🔴 Greenwood - Keeps scoring despite not having a very high xG. Class finisher!

🟣 Antonio - Another double digit haul, 3 in a row now. Incredible value for money obviously.
GW 4 Fixture to target

🔴 MUN vs NEW

United face Newcastle in a game that can only end in one way. Ronaldo back at Old Trafford against an extremely leaky Newcastle defence. Goals incoming.
GW 4 Player recommendation:

Cristiano Ronaldo is back. I don’t need to tell you why Ronaldo will be a good FPL pick, but I can tell you that the GW 4 fixture is perfect. Newcastle have conceded an xG of 2.55 per game this season, the numbers speak for themselves.
If you’re wildcarding, Ronaldo is probably a must have. If you’re not wildcarding, I would definitely prioritize bringing in Ronaldo, even if it means selling Bruno.
GW 4 Player to avoid:

Scott Carson (4.0) looks like a starter for Man City in GW 4, but I wouldn’t advice Wildcarders to pick him. He will only play one game and then blocks a City triple up, which you will probably want at some time between your first and second WC.
GW 4 Worth consideration

If Firmino is ruled out with a long term injury (Update needed), Diogo Jota suddenly becomes a nailed starter for Liverpool. Costing only 7.6m, he would be one of my first picks in a wildcard team.
Bruno Fernandes Replacements:

In order to get funds for Ronaldo, many are downgrading Bruno this week. Here are my favourite replacements:

1. Jota (7.6) 🔴
2. Greenwood (7.7) 🔴
3. Sarr (6.0) 🟡
4. Traore (6.0) 🟠
5. Torres (7.1) 💎

GW 5 and on: Raphinha (6.5) ⚪️

GW 4 Captaincy

1) Cristiano Ronaldo - 💰12.5
Fixture: NEW (H)

The top goalscorer in the history of football is now back in the Premier League, with Newcastle (H) in his first game. He’s very likely to start so if you own Ronaldo, captain Ronaldo.
2) Mohamed Salah - 💰12.5
Fixture: LEE (A)

Leeds have conceded 8 goals in their first 3 games, and now Liverpool come to Elland Road. Captaining Salah is never a bad idea, especially not in a fixture as good as this one.
3) Michail Antonio - 💰7.9
Fixture: CRY (H)

4 goals, 4 assists and 40 FPL points in 3 games for Michail Antonio. Going up against Southampton, who have conceded an xG of 1.95 per game this season, Antonio is no doubt a good captaincy choice.
GW 4 Captaincy - Differential

Mason Greenwood - 💰7.7
Fixture: NEW (H)

3 goals from 11 goal attempts this season for Greenwood who should be nailed to start in GW 4. NEW (H) is a great fixture which means that Greenwood is a good differential captaincy pick.
GW 4 Differential picks:

1️⃣ Adama Traore - 💰6.0
Owned by: 2.8%
Fixture: WAT (A)

2️⃣ Emile Smith-Rowe - 💰5.4
Owned by: 4.8%
Fixture: NOR (H)

3️⃣ Pablo Fornals - 💰6.0
Owned by: 2.5%
Fixture: SOU (A)

GW 5 Notes - Teams ✍️

⚒️ West Ham - Awful performance and a 3-0 loss vs Chelsea. Avoid all West Ham players for now.

⚪️ Spurs - 3 goals scored and 3.52 xG created vs Brentford. Great fixture run from GW 8, prepare to bring in at least one Spurs attacker.
GW 5 Notes - Players ✍️

🔴 Diaz - 2 goals and 16 FPL pts vs BOU, now up to 51 pts in 5 GWs. He’s in incredible form, but how long can he keep this up?

⚪️ Solanke - Scored his first goal for Spurs and had 1.61 xG in GW 5. Decent pick for wildcarders.

GW 4 Notes - Teams ✍️

🔴 Arsenal - 3rd CS in 4 games, with only 0.74 xG conceded. Double Arsenal defence seems close to essential from GW 6.

🌳 Nottingham Forest - A win and a CS at Anfield. Undefeated so far this season.
GW 4 Notes - Players ✍️

🟣 Watkins - 2 goals and 13 FPL pts vs Everton. 0.93 xG/90 so far this season.

👕 Haaland - 2 more goals, now up to 9 goals and 54 FPL pts in 4 GWs. Truly an insane start to the season.

GW 3 Notes - Teams ✍️

🔴 Liverpool - 3rd game, 3rd win, 3rd CS. +7 in total goal difference. Looks very solid so far this season.

🔵 Everton - Up 2-0 after 86 mins, lost the game 2-3. 3 straight losses and 10 goals conceded in 3 games. Terrible start to the season.
GW 3 Notes - Players ✍️

🐝 Mbeumo - 2 goals and 14 pts vs SOU. 3 goals in 3 games now this season, and great fixtures from GW 6.

🔵 Calvert-Lewin - 1 goal and 1 assist in GW 3, and has an excellent fixture run that starts in GW 5. Potential 3rd FWD on WC 4 even?

GW 2 Notes - Teams ✍️

🔴 Arsenal - Another CS, although a bit lucky this time. Still, it’s worth keeping in mind that they can keep a CS even in tough fixtures.

👕 Man City - 3.34 xG created and 4 goals scored vs Ipswich. Excellent attacking performance, as expected.
GW 2 Notes - Players ✍️

🔵 Palmer - 1 goal, 3 assists and 17 FPL pts vs Wolves. Incredible performance, looked like the Palmer of last season.

🔴 Raya - 2 save points and 4 bonus points in the first 2 GWs this season. Had a total of only 6 BPs in 32 games last season.

GW 1 Notes - Teams ✍️

🔴 Arsenal - Very solid performance. Only 0.47 xGC. Still the best defence in the league.

🔴 Liverpool - 2-0 win, with 2.65 xG created and only 0.45 conceded. Good fixtures ahead as well, with 3 home games in the next 4 GWs.
GW 1 Notes - Players ✍️

🔴 Salah - Never doubt the 👑. 1 goal, 1 assist and 14 FPL points in GW 1. Just as good as he usually starts the season.

🦊 Vardy - Back in the PL, and scored immediately. Might become an option at some point, at 5.5m.

GW 1 Fixtures to target 🎯

⚫️⚪️ NEW vs: SOU (H)

This is a perfect fixture to target, especially for Newcastle attackers. Newcastle are usually very good in home games, and Southampton (H) is a fixture primed for goals. Isak, Gordon and Murphy are all very good picks for GW 1.
🔴 ARS vs WOL (H)

Arsenal have the best defence in the league, and kept 18 clean sheets last season. This is, without a doubt, the best fixture to target for CS points in GW1. Arsenal’s first 5 fixtures include 3 difficult games, but this one could easily finish 3-0 to Arsenal.
