Maryam Monsef made a very personal statement about her comments just days ago. Why people continue to spread hateful attacks targeting her and her family I will never understand. #Elxn44
I previously called out @SteedmanBill , Vice President of the @CPC_HQ EDA @pktories for his own hateful and harassing posts that target Monsef. This is coming right from @mferreriptbokaw campaign leadership.
🚨 CPC MP @mferreriptbokaw has been misleading Canadians FOR MONTHS claiming 77% of child care spaces under our current Federal child care plan go to wealthy families.
Several of us asked the source of this stat, without receiving a reply….

I have noticed that MP Michelle Ferreri tends to minimize and re-direct concerns specific to women while serving on Committee on the Status of Women.
Take this exchange, which she made more about the mental health of young people:
No focus on what was said about a systemic issue Women face:
“…if we look at this as a systemic issue, people know that most people running these types of organizations are women and that we'll just do it out of the kindness of our hearts.”
“It is a systemic issue. We're drastically underpaid—from my role all the way to every frontline person there.”
These important comments from Brittany McMillan of Kawartha Sexual Assault Centre were largely ignored.
The irony of showing up with your “Hold Fast” brand, then criticizing a speaker for mentioning the war on COVID-19 and Climate Change as not being appropriate for Remembrance Day. 🤦♀️
