The afternoon session of @TribunalUyghur second hearing started with Rodney Dixon QC who regularly appears in all international criminal courts, including the ICC. He provided an overview of his submission to the ICC Prosecutor regarding the persecution of Uyghurs in ICC states.
@TribunalUyghur "Early indications of genocides are the number of people in thousands who disappearing & are not being heard again. It doesn’t equate to assimilation. If they were to bring people back to work in the Chinese system then we will be hearing from them again, they won’t be silenced."
"The alleged plan is to bring them back and target them as a group, regard them as terrorists, but there is no evidence of any person involved in any terrorist activities." -Rodney Dixon QC. #UyghurTribunal
"What we are seeing is not limited to few countries, we saw this happening in many countries. China is entering these countries to intimidate Uyghurs and taking hostage of their family back home. People are brought back is not consistent with assimilation."-Rodney Dixon QC.
"There is no evidence to show a lawful process that has been used by China to bring people back."-Rodney Dixon QC.
"Despite the deceleration has been made by China that they respect the law, but the contrariety is happening. They can act with impunity, like with Tajilstan, like with Cambodia. The way they can do with other countries is through intimidation, holding their family back home"

Dr.@adrianzenz presents his new findings regarding the connection between internment camps and the central government. Development and implementation of the “re-education”.

@PeterIrwin_@UyghurProject@TribunalUyghur "We spoke to 5 imams, we wanted to learn what was happening to Imams in Xj. These Imams have been going in and out of prisons back in the 90s. "Next to concentration camps, there are crematoriums as reported by @RFA_UyghurNews, and there are a lot of people who are missing in the camps, this could be the result of torture or they are subjected to organ harvesting as well in my opinion." @MayaMitalipova#UyghurTribunal
