I don’t pray for any people to go through what the people of Zamfara are currently going through right now. There is a mix of fear, apprehension and optimism from those who haven’t left Zamfara to other States due absence of any means of civilized form of communication. Markets
are shut, schools are closed, resident doctors on nation wide strike, many road side businesses have closed shops, banks are operating almost at a skeletal level, fueling stations close by evening, many motor parks have been banned. The military are everywhere, Zamfara is a war
theatre, the whole State goes into a curfew by 8pm. The people are soldiering on while praying and supporting the soldiers on ground fighting against armed bandits. The State has bern taken back to stone age. The experience is painful and the story is long.
