Here in Chevy Chase with @VenturaReport where a small activist crowd has gathered to go protest at Brett Kavanaugh’s house.
The group approaches Kavanaugh’s home. Neighborhood kids watching on their porch.
Lights are on but doesn’t appear to be anyone home.
Plenty of police stationed around Kavanaugh’s house. Protestors booed them early on, then this protestor tells them, “Go do your actual job, you’re just fucking standing there.”

Hochul references misinformation about NY's 2019 Reproductive Health Act, which removed abortion from NY’s criminal code and allows women to obtain late-term abortions if their health is in danger or if their unborn baby is not viable.
Pro-life social media content erupted with memes and posts about how NY had legalized abortion up until birth, and Facebook fact checkers doled out "false" and "partly false" fact checks left and right.
Interesting Politico piece, but it doesn't mention Biden's revelation that he does not agree life begins at conception. That's a monumental statement. Nor does the piece really get into the semantics of Biden's political evolution on abortion.
Many have suggested that Biden is privately pro-life and only toes the party line on abortion. His actions as president have disproved that, and he himself just admitted he does not agree with fundamental Catholic teaching: life begins at conception.
The latest progressive talking point: Texas' Heartbeat Act, which bans the abortions of babies who have reached six weeks/have a heartbeat, is on par with the Taliban.
Activists + progressive reporters particularly take issue with the law allowing “any person” to sue doctors, abortion clinics, or anyone who “knowingly engages in conduct that aids or abets the performance or inducement of an abortion.”
Those who sue over the abortion of a baby may be awarded $10K “for each abortion” the defendant performed, induced, aided, or abetted in violation of the law — monetary amounts that some pro-abortion advocates (like @JoyAnnReid) are calling “bounties.
One of my favorite places in the world is a ratchet little diner in my hometown where a friendly old man with an oversized hat and gun on his hip sits at the counter on a barstool, sips his coffee, and watches Fox News while he eats his eggs.
It's cash only and in the winter, the ATM freezes up from the cold, so you have to run over to the gas station next door to get money to pay for your food.
A good look at how Time’s Up, specifically founded to defend women accusing high profile men of sexual harassment & assault, helped downplay #METOO allegations against Cuomo and Biden. nytimes.com/2021/08/21/us/…
On Tara Reade’s allegations: “The situation at Time’s Up was especially delicate because several leaders had second lives in the Biden campaign.”
The Times obtained slides in which Times Up offered advice on how accused men could respond to allegations.
