FORD is NOT exiting INDIA. Neither it came here just 25 years back with their cars, nor it is going to quit anytime soon.
CIA linked Ford Foundation estb in India in 1952 upon Nehru's invitation, has sent millions$$ since then, until Modi regime holds the rein.
Read on..

As per FF website, it has sent approx $508mn in India (P1,2), having office at 55, Lodhi Estate, Delhi (P3) which apparently is the same address that of UN Information Center in India (P4), enjoying sort of immunity under a "signed memorandum" with GoI in 1952, until 2014! 2/
Life turns here. As soon as PM Modi assumed office, MHA cracked down on all foreign-funded NGOs & subsequently more than 16K NGO were banned for FCRA violation between 2015-19. 3/
FF was no exception and came under heavy scrutiny & had almost "packed". Apr'15 news started surfacing about scrutiny over FF, citing case when FF lent $200K to Sabrang NGO run by Teesta Satelvad in 2008 for fueling communalism & nat'al security concerns.
4/
Here, FF started an Int'nal lobbying, followed by series of meetings with MHA/MEA/FM. Note that in 2008, FF roped in Infy founder NRN Murthy also to executive board, who participated in one such high profile meeting in May'15 with Derren Walker (FF Prez), John Podesta 5/
(adviser to Hillary Clinton) & Kavita Ramdas (Ford India head, asso. with OSF too) with Nripendra Mishra (PS to PM) & Arun Jaitley.
Wikileaks cables revealed e-mails exchange where Walker raised SOS, & Podesta promised to support including talking to Jaishankar too.
6/
Things finally settled (or negotiated) (P1). MHA put FF in 'prior permission' ("watchlist") in 2015 (P2), which was later removed a year after FF reg under FEMA (P3). All-in-all FF closely escaped full ban. Later MHA allowed use of frozen funds also for staff's salary.
7/
In any case, it irked officials who cited that any such arrangement (memorandum) is fine then, but why FF didn't bother to comply when FERA (later FEMA) laws were enacted. (P1)
FF, obviously, defended to follow a memo which was challenged all those years of INC regime.
8/
Worth noting that, as it seems, CIA literally had smooth infiltration through FF by providing junkets/scholarships to govt officials w/out any clearance. There are some shocking revelations by independent research. Spend a min time going through this picture.
9/
Meanwhile, a side note, besides being served FF, NRN Murthy has chaired another NGO Public Health Foundation of INDIA, which was suspended in 2017 for irregularities & "lobbying", later settled with "prior permission" (watchlist) of MHA in 2018. (P3) 10/
Be it Kashmir, NE, anti-CAA, Farmer Protest, DGH, L-media or name any propaganda that destabilizes a nation, fundamentally needs lots of money.
And who would fund it?
The one who runs these sinister agendas sitting across miles.
11/
NGOs have been safe conduits to fund these hit-jobs in name of 'grants', despite having relevant laws, but not the will.
Since 2014 they are facing unprecedented scrutiny. Heavyweights like Amnesty Int'nal & Greenpeace had to shut shop bcz unable to keep the books clean.
12/
Ford may have been granted safe passage by Nehru, but it's not the end. They will keep producing 'dismantle or spyware' projects. If not NGOs, it'll be new source- Crowdfundings. Yes, it harms the genuine one also, but India can't afford to overlook it anymore!

Since the context is set for a NGO & deep nexus, appending another (disturbing) thread about IPF👇.
Imagine, if 2002 Guj riots, Teesta Setalvad, Hilary Clinton, and Narayan Murthy come in the same story!
This EXCLUSIVE thread will throw light on some lesser-known facts, that include an (in)famous international NGO & biggies!
1/
Let's begin with the post-independence era when the world's top intel agencies wanted to sneak into every country, where NGOs were proven as the best proxy tool to penetrate during cold world war times. From ideological warfare to covert ops, NGOs were leading from the front.
2/
Similarly, the CIA established the Ford Foundation (FF) for whom the first PM Jawahar Lal Nehru laid the red carpet in 1952. This was a modern-day invasion at the invitation.
Canadian police has raided one of largest drug lab in the history. Arrested drug-lord Gaganpreet Randhawa. It is widely known that Khalistani activities are being financed by narco-arms cartels in Canada.

Read the amount of drugs and cache of weapon here 👇🏼
2/
The facility is considered as "superlab" which processes billions of worth of illegal drugs in collaboration with Maxico and Middle East drugs cartel. Obviously exporting/smuggling massive amounts of supplies.
