Last night @CMOH_Alberta gave a presentation to Alberta family docs, and I got a chance to see it and take screenshots before the video was set to Private.

Whenever a politician wants to give you "Context", be wary of Deceptive Framing.

Have a look at her graphs of BC/AB/SK.

The axis scales are not the same.
Here are the graphs exactly how they look at

The default shows every province on the same axis for fairness.

See that green "Relative scale". That compares each province to its own peak.

Click it. Gosh - every province looks equally bad now.
That is exactly the deceptive "context" Dr Hinshaw used to frame her presentation.

She was trying to pretend all of Canada's Western provinces got hit by Delta in the same way.

I'd link to that spot on the video but it has been set to private.
Now scroll above on that same Health Canada page she used, and see how Alberta really compares to the rest of Canada, on the same Metric:

Rate of Cases per 100K population in last 7 days.
• Alberta has > 3x 🇨🇦average
• Over 2x BC, which Dr Hinshaw pretended was similar
Beware politicians trying to give you "Context".

Rogers INSISTS that they have not outsourced their support to India, or anyone. Given that my phone call of two (2) hours on Saturday was with 2 Indians with insufficient authority or account access, including "Jaz the tech support supervisor in Calgary" [what a coincidence!]...
I say that is BS. I was a loyal Shaw customer for years because they were based in Calgary. The transition to Rogers was a mess: passwords + challenge questions/answers got lost in the shift.

Rogers does not empower their "support" to support. Only to stall, obstruct or upsell.
