The parallels between Maoist China & Stalinist Russia & the mindset of RSS men publicly humiliating their parents, cheered on by fellow RSS men, in the name of Dharma has/will jar quite a few nerves. But it has to be said & pondered upon.
Neither any political party nor any mafia org will stop me from speaking out truth as I see it, that includes post poll violence in Bengal & the toxic culture of cheering on the depravity of turning on parents.
Just so that we know, I have been speaking out vocally on the horrors of post poll violence in WB, not for any love towards BJP or RSS, but out of disgust against totalitarian thuggery & religious supremacism. The motives 4 drawing the above parallel is identical.
Finally, around the 75th Aniversary of Direct Action Day, had come across a East Bengal refugee descendant sharing a FB post with me, likely to display her social consciousness & writing prowess, which revealed same mindset, humiliating her parents & grand parents. Same mindset
The culture of humiliating parents through caricature & slurs may be very deep in RSS. Some day when we find some time may document this phenomenon in a series, like our series on ethnic hate.
Around Direct Action Day addressed the influence of RSS & self-loathing of a woman of East Bengal origin in this exchange. Does RSS hold struggle sessions where one must confess the sins of their ancestors particularly in WB & KL ?
