1/🧵 This is a thread on @StarAtlas and it carving out a path to becoming one of the best Play To Earn (P2E) games on the blockchain. If you haven't read the whitepaper I highly suggest doing so because it will give you goosebumps. staratlas.com/white-paper.pdf

2/ To start, SA will be using Unreal Engine 5 with real-time graphics. This is the first blockchain game to integrate Unreal Engine and the possibilites are endless for space exploration, traversing planets, and establishing strongholds within factions.

3/ Within SA there are two tokens that just launched on Sep. 2nd:
$ATLAS will be the main currency used in-game, it is inflationary to match the growth of the in-game economy and establish a sound monetary base for on ramping to the game. Total supply of 36,000,000,000

4/ $POLIS is the governance token used for the entirety of the game with voting power in DAOs where it is staked and influence in treasury. Fixed supply of 360,000,000.

5/ The duality of these tokens will allow players to expand their mining colonies, develop civilizations with their own governing bodies, enforce taxes on land, establish trade tariffs within different regions, grant tax breaks for allies, endless possibilities

6/ You get to decide your approach to gameplay if you just want a small speeder capable of warping from planet to planet or a vessle equipped with heavy defensive turrets primed for exploration into unchartered corners of the cosmos.

7/ Decentralized Autonomous Corporations (DAC)s are already taking root and forming alliances and partnerships.@interstellaral3 One of the larger guilds, allows you to particpate in a community and earn benefits through your preferred style of play and partake in their own DAO

8/ Roles in IA:
-Miners (Resource gatherers. Mining missions in dangerous zones, protected by the Hunters or casual mining in the safe zones)
-Information Officers (Spies and Agents for secret missions)

-Hunters (Main PVP force, protecting Miners and Traders. Can accept payed mercenary missions, fees will include fuel expenses, insurance and reward based on Risk)

10/
-Pirates (Can do what Pirates do best, but can't attack the Alliance or interfere with the interests of the Alliance. Outside of the Alliance safe zone, you are on your own.)
-Traders (Trader job is to make money! Find the best way to exploit the economy.)

11/
-Explorer (The adventurers of the Alliance will explore the unknown territories and share the scanning information with the Alliance for % of the extracted resources and quality.)
