Digging into @lootproject and its derivatives today, and all things NFT. Loot Project is an exciting new NFT project that has turned PFPs (profile pictures like BAYC + Cryptopunks) on its head with NFTs composed of a list of words and created many new NFT derivative projects
I originally searched on @opensea for Loot derivative projects and saw that the top verified ones that came up using autocomplete are @Abstract_Loot , Loot (for Cyberpunks) and @Treasure_NFT
But I remembered that @DuneAnalytics has some great community created dashboards on the crypto ecosystem and found this amazing one detailing all things Loot and Loot derivatives: dune.xyz/timshel/Loot-E…
It turns out, my initial investigation didn't turn up the top 2 derivative projects @thenproject_n and @LootRealms . Cross-referencing @opensea confirms these projects, but the confidence score in Realms (for Adventurers) is quite low (pops up when you try to make a purchase)...
Digging deeper into fast growing projects, I found that @GenesisLoot is adding wallets at a decent clip over the last few days dune.xyz/queries/150607…, but with overall volume still relatively low
Overall Loot Project is a fascinating NFT metaverse to explore that feels like the old days of fantasy RPGs in a crypto-native format that I hope to continue to explore and share more about!
