My gorgeous daughter has started her steps in honour of Katelyn her perfect angel in the sky💜💜
If you would like to make a donation to this worthy case to help raise funds to support bereaved families please click on her fundraising page💜 walkyourway.choosinghope.com.au/page/JessicaMi…
From now and during the month of October, she will@dedicate every step in honour of Katelyn and help raise important funds in support of bereaved families. She has set myself a goal to walk 35km and beyond, as Katelyn was born sleeping at 35weeks.
Jessica would like to help make a difference by fundraising for Bears Of Hope Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support. This is a cause close to her heart, who help support parents across Australia who experience the loss of their baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal and
infant loss. I am grateful for any support to help make a difference. U can make a secure online donation & post a message of support. Donations made through this platform will be remitted directly through to Bears Of Hope.
Thanks for your support! walkyourway.choosinghope.com.au/page/JessicaMi…

Most of the anti-sentiment against transgender athletes of course largely comes from a place of wanting to protect the integrity of women’s sport, rather than simple hatred and bigotry.
Frankly, given most people’s understanding of the differences between male and female bodies, this is an understandable point of view.
Prominent media personalities such as Piers Morgan, Ben Shapiro and Joe Rogan, as well as many former athletes like Sharron Davies, Dame Kelly Holmes, Tessa Sanderson, Martina Navratilova and Paula Radcliffe have all been outspoken in their opposition towards trans athletes.
When I first became a woman the first group of
people that accepted me fully as the woman I truly am was the local Aboriginal Community in Broken Hill and Wilcannia.
When I was appointed as the Regional Manager with Murdi Paaki , I lived in Wilcannia for a year. You often hear negative things about Wilcannia.
I am a former prison boss and transgender woman and in the time I lived in Wilcannia I was never judged, I was always respected and I had never felt safer anywhere in my life as I did in Wilcannia.
@JackMarx5 Many years ago whilst still presenting to the world as Warren, I was working as a Prison Officer in the rugged township of Tumbarumba.
One night I went to the local pub with another prison officer mate. The usual clientele were there. The pub was full of bearded mountain men and rugged footy players.
There was also this newbie at the bar, he had a three piece suit on a briefcase and a Rolex watch he definitely wasn't a Tumbarumba local.
We have over 3million 🇦🇺’s living below the poverty line.
There was a period in 🇦🇺 when the ‘right’ to housing went unquestioned. In post WW2 Australia, State Housing authorities, with support from the Federal government, invested in social housing throughout our country.
At that point in time, we seemed to understand as a nation that all people and all families, even those in low paid work or unable to work (due to illness or unemployment) deserved the dignity of housing.
That particular 🇦🇺, lost for the past few decades, can be & must be recovered.
Homelessness is a direct result of poverty & unaffordable housing options. It is not a result of illness, addictions, poor choices or a lack of living skills. Those things can lead to poverty.
The #LNP Govt in Australia is restricting FOI, targeting whistleblowers and raiding the media who report on them, delegitimising and gagging public interest advocacy, and criminalising protest.
The populist “anti-politics” frame is constructed by the far right dictators like Trump & Morrison to further undermine faith in democracy and lead to autocratic answers.
The Democracy 2025 project of the Museum of Australian Democracy and the University of Canberra released a major piece of research finding that trust in democracy in Australia has plummeted from 86% in 2007 to 41% in 2018.
