Thousands of government employees (majority of whom are non-Pashton) have been fired in the past few days, and the Taliban have replaced them.
Most of those who have been replaced are not even able to read Farsi/Dari and Pashto texts.

A deputy minister of a ministry, who has a master's degree from Poland and is pursuing a doctorate, said to me: "he was fired by the Taliban and replaced by someone who has gone to school up to grade fifth and is able to read Pashto and Farsi/Dari."

Another employee from the same ministry who is still working there, is saying, "well, at least he is able to read Pashto or Farsi/Dari, a Talib member who is appointed as the head of our IT department, does not even know how to switch on or off the computer."

He added, "the other day, i went to his office, he was trying to learn from a colleague about what is a computer mouse, and also for 3 days he was singing and playing with Keyboard as like it was a piano. the Funny is that he knew what is a piano although they banned music."
