My favorite confirming indicator, VIX is above 2 pivots, MP & QP

Usually pays to be defensive & then be buying back or taking off hedges as VIX drops under pivots again - has worked so many times

However, the ETFs that are tied to short term VIX futures, are 'not yet'

VXX hasn't lifted above its monthly pivot yet - people who know this vehicle understand its severe decay. But, MACD signal +!

SVXY (inverse to VIX) sitting on its monthly pivot - key tell for this week

This is a savvy way of adding leverage but you do have to scram when there is trouble because this will drop hard
