I have a lot to say. First and foremost, fuck that guy. I also hope they fry his parents. Obstructing or aiding at the least.

Secondly, watch those you care about for signs of domestic abuse, however small. #GABBYPETITO

1. She was overly apologetic, she had protective body language in that video where she was deemed “hysterical” by police, and emotional by the boyfriend and took the blame for whatever occurred. All of these things are signs of being “gaslit”. #GABBYPETITO

2. He said he took her keys and locked her out of her van (home) and she was scared of being abandoned. He also belittled her chosen field (social media) to law enforcement though he gained notoriety through it. This is the behavior of a manipulator and narcissist. #GABBYPETITO

3. His posts: His ways are best. Everyone is “beneath” him. She was seeking approval from followers because he made her feel small and insignificant. Her friend reported that he would take her phone and at one point took her ID so she couldn’t go places without him. #GABBYPETITO

4. Control is another tactic abusers use to isolate their victims. An extended road trip would have been a dream for him, further alienating her. Her popularity secretly enraged him because deep down he was an insecure little boy who wanted to be in the spotlight. #GABBYPETITO

5. He ran home to mommy and daddy for help, likely blaming her for her own death because narcissists who kill family do not take blame unless it’s to gain something from it. (Think plea deal) When and if he’s found alive, he will cry victim. #GABBYPETITO

6. BUT, it’s very likely that if he couldn’t escape with the time his family PURPOSELY provided, he will take the coward’s way out because deep down, all abusers are COWARDS. #GABBYPETITO

7. And lastly, people who have been abused KNOW. I know.
