2/ In 8 of the articles CNN wrote between Nov 5th and Nov 13th about Ethiopia, the war was reported as having started when Abiy declared war on TPLF in response to an ‘alleged attack.’
3/ On Nov 13th, Sekoture Getachew, a senior TPLF member confessed on TV to the attack with graphic expression of the event and on Nov 14th the Ministry of Foreign Affairs released the English transcript as well as the video which went unmentioned by CNN
4/ Since they can’t say ‘alleged attack’ anymore because of TPLF’s admission, the story became ‘war broke out when Abiy ordered military attack’. Otherwise, they would have to say ‘war broke out when TPLF attacked the Northern Command of the ENDF’ but CNN would rather die!
5/ Since Nov 13 to DATE, only 4 articles mentioned the attack. Of which 3 stuck to ‘alleged attack’ and 1 stated the TPLF denied the attack (published on March 22 4 months after TPLF’s admission). But only 4 during 10 months versus 8 in 8 days just until they admit!
6/ Not only did they make sure the audience is suspicious about the attack ever happening by pounding ‘alleged attack’ every day at the start, they deliberately stopped making any references to the attack. Surely interesting enough or why talk about it that much at first?
7/ Since that day 17 articles stated that the war broke out when Abiy declared war on TPLF, 12 of which have the exact sentence making you wonder if it is the individual reporters writing it or something put as an editorial direction.
8/ 3 of them state Abiy ordered a military attack because the TPLF undermined or defied his authority 2 of which state the attacks were ordered because the TPLF ‘defied his authority by holding the election’.
9/ A war starts with the first attack not with the counterattack! And here is when the Ethiopian war started – when the #TPLFTerroristGroup decided to butcher the Northern Command of ENDF! 👇🏾
