This thread will be extremely usefull for a lot of you. Here I will try my best to explain how to find your proper positional config step by step.
Section A: Find the X axis offset.
Section B: Find the Y axis offset.
Section C: Find the Z axis offset.
[1/7]
IMPORTANT: Depending on your grip, the X or Y axis might be inverted. I will assume X moves your saber Left-Right and Y moves it Up-Down. If you use a grip that positions your controller sideways, just invert section A and B. Good luck and have fun reading! [2/7]
Finding the proper X axis is fairly easy. Point your arm straight in front of you towards the menu and rotate your arm on itself (just like you're opening a doorknob).
If the hilt stays in the same position: You have the correct position. (See Image 1) [A:1/1]
Finding the proper Y axis is probably the hardest one to get right. The Y axis makes an up and down motion around a center of rotation. If that center is not on the controller, the hilt will displace over it causing an imbalance in your swing angle. (See Image 2) [B:1/2]
This significantly helps with swing angle consistency as well as up-down swing precision (Free acc boost yay!). Proper Y Axis config should make the swing look like (Image 3). [B:2/2]
The last axis is the easiest, by far. With the correct Y and X axis, just increase or decrease the Z offset until the center of rotation is at the bottom of the hilt (See image 4). This is mostly preference so feel free to push the saber a little further or leave it as is [C:1/1]
Conclusion: If you have done everything correctly, the bottom part of the hilt should not be moving at all, no matter how you move your wrist. Hope this helps a few and feel free to RT to let everyone know 🙏! [7/7]
#BeatSaber@BeatSaber 🥺🙏 RT would be very very appreciated. I'm sure this will help a lot of beat saber players 🥺❤
