Putin and the communist party going to war was not on my bingo card for this year. Crazy watching this unfold as Putin has communist leaders arrested while they plan protests and call the sham election a fraud theins.ru/news/245270?ut…
This is so far from a strategic move by Putin and feels very personal. Long term I don’t see this being successful for him and his bandits
The rally did proceed while police tried to drown out protesters by chanting Vova we are with you and playing loud music. The protesters meanwhile held signs of fair elections. I’m sure this will be followed with more arrests of communist party members
Several dozen people who took part in the Communist Party rally on Pushkin Square went to Red Square and State Duma building chanting "Putin is a thief" "FSB is a shame of Russia" Very accurate

3. Find divisive issues and magnify causing unrest/protests
4.Do everything to discredit candidates/parties while helping their chosen candidate
