Imagine a world where your money isn't really yours.

You can't spend it on what you want to spend it on.

But rather, you can spend it on what the government thinks you should be allowed to spend it on.

Bought too much red meat this week? Oops, you've overspent your carbon allowance.

Too many video games? Naughty, naughty.

3 holidays this year? You're destroying the planet, babes.

This is the hypothetical future that programmable central bank digital currencies could create.

Linked to your Digital ID / aka vax passport, the government has complete control over where you go, what you spend your money on and what 'freedoms' you're entitled to.

If this all sounds far fetched, be aware that social credit systems are currently being rolled out in China. And that CBDCs are in development in major economies.

- Covid control measures
- Freedoms being 'granted' by governments
- Vax passports / digital IDs issued
- Central bank digital currencies

A dystopian new world emerges.

Hopefully these dots will never be joined.

But we must fight each and every step before they are.
