Today we're celebrating the birthday of the great Walter Matthau 🎂

The @NYPL digital collection has this 1961 photo of Walter Matthau with Julie Harris and William Shatner in A Shot in the Dark, Harry Kurnitz's English version of L'Idiote by Marcel Achard. Matthau won a Tony for this role.
