As I was reading openthemagazine.com/cover-stories/… of PM @narendramodi about his 20 years in office-1st as Guj CM & now as our PM,my eyes noticed those words-I DONT GET AWED BY THE TRAJECTORY OF MY LIFE”-I instantly remembered a friend telling me how PMs detachment is his biggest positive! 
“Mentally, I keep myself detached from this world of power, glitz & glamour. And due to that, I am able to think like a common citizen and walk on my path of duty just like I would if I were given any other responsibility.” What PM said here is his his biggest strength!
“Right from my younger days,my bent was spiritual” said @narendramodi in his i/w to @OpenMag , talking abt circumstances in which CM job- Bhuj was already devastated-was handed to him.

This sort of affection is PM @narendramodi ‘s biggest achievement and strength- but it has come on the basis of work that he has done for the masses
It is not just poor but then see this video - he follows his words with real actions and goes that extra mile by his sheer action; reason why he has been able to earn and secure affection and belief in his leadership- read the excerpt of that interview!
Check this section where PM talked about empowering people- both in his intent and actions that commitment is clearly visible. It is just that people need to open their eyes and see to it on their own!
PMs politics- as he rightly said in his interview is NOT about using RajShakti but about leveraging RajShakti to empower and benefit JanShakti and that same JanShakti becomes @narendramodi’s biggest support base- reason why every abuse of him is seen by folks as his own abuse!
And that detachment allows him to pick the right criticism, work on it and then make it his biggest strength. Let me quote an ex of that- PM was hugely criticised for wearing a suit with Obama; not only he auctioned that suit but since then u will see him only in Indian outfits!
This alone is one reason that despite intense scrutiny, none of his detractors has been able to levy him on ONE allegation during his 20 years governance tenure- and the reason is in what PM @narendramodi said here 👇🏻
JanDhan, Digital opportunities create via Aadhar, Digital health mission, Ayushman etc etc are all about marrying these two- pro poor policies with pro business!
Something, I can vouch for- as someone who has written extensively on survey of India and GTS in the past, my long held belief was always that PM @narendramodi will help bring back the glory of Indian maps -
