this is more likely to come from the counter party (i.e. the group that opposed these things this time)

One wonders: why are these people lying?
They are lying to fuel the mob & tweet at my employer because
1. they disagree with me on other issues
2. they want to get me fired.
3. this is the culture we have created in 2021
