Tengrism (also known as Tengriism, Tengerism, or Tengrianism) is an Ancient Ethnic & state Turko-Mongolic religion originating in Central Asia and the Eurasian steppes, based on folk shamanism, monotheistic at the imperial level, & centered around the Creator Sky God Tengri. 
TENgrism was the National Religion of Tartaria, the Faith of Genghis Khan, before Manichaeism became the dominant Faith. Tengri was the National God of the Göktürks. The Göktürk Khans based their power on a mandate from Tengri. These rulers were accepted as the sons of Tengri.
Tengri is considered to be the chief god who created all things. In addition to this celestial god, they also had minor divinities (Alps) that served the purposes of Tengri. As Gök Tanrı, he was the father of the 🌞 (Koyash) & 🌝 (Ay Tanrı) & Umay, Erlik, & sometimes Ülgen.

Khan Tengri is a mountain of the Tian Shan mountain range. Its geologic elevation is 6,995 m (22,949 ft), but its glacial icecap rises to 7,010 m (22,999 ft)The name "Khan Tengri" literally means "King Heaven" in Kazakh or "King Sky" in Mongolian and references the deity Tengri.
From ancient times, the Turkic people believed that humans had secret lunar powers (Aisar or Aysar). Female pregnancy lasts about nine lunar months, and women often deliver during a full moon. The three phases of the moon were also symbolic.
It was believed that at "Ai Naazy" (new moon) the Moon symbolised a growing young child, who is pure and modest. At "Ai Toly" (full moon), the Moon personified a mature good-natured mother or father. At "Ai Karty" (old moon) the moon aged, became wise.
