Already, Israel delayed a scheduled Oct. 6 hearing on the fate of 38 homes belonging to 220 Palestinians, a sign that public outrage is working to defend Palestinian homes.

This is a sign that our collective voices for Palestinian freedom have an impact.

Palestinians of Al-Walaja are under threat from Israel to make way for construction of a segregated highway for Jewish Israelis.

The Israeli nature agency has also taken control of Ein Hanya spring, a natural spring that Palestinians no longer have access to.

The theft of Ein Hanya from Palestinians is part of Israeli greenwashing, a set of processes meant to make Israel’s settler colonial project seem environmentally friendly, while in reality dispossessing Palestinians from their native land & reinforcing segregationist policies.

Palestinians living in Al-Walaja have been faced with this displacement crisis since 1948 as part of the Israeli regime’s ongoing project to systematically dispossess, displace, & ethnically cleanse Palestinian communities.
