I know I go off on here a lot so here’s a frame of reference
I spent all day making one necklace
On the very last polishing run, a setting for a stone snapped off with all the stones already set
This means I have to buy p much all the materials again and start over
This first necklace? Essentially garbage now bc I have to take every stone out of it to put them on the new one
No way of knowing if the solder actually flowed until some shit like this happens
This is not fun
There’s worse things that could’ve happened but paying out of pocket for almost twice as many materials for something I already had to underprice just so someone would buy it isn’t a nice feeling and hopefully you can see why I need to restructure everything
The upside is at least I was able to save some of the chain so I guess this will get turned into a bracelet and a few simple rings or something
