Hey #nettytwitter, if anyone has a spare moment and feels like sticking it to “the man” aka my local council who have locked the community out of the local netball courts but left the basketball, footy and cricket spaces accessible (because patriarchy and sexism probably) (1/2)

For some context, all of these sporting areas are in the same reserve but only the netball courts are locked away citing “vandalism” and “noise complaints” from neighbours as the reason.
Any one buying a house next to a footy/cricket club is expecting some noise and vandalism doesn’t seem to be a problem 50m away at the footy/cricket club rooms so it’s all nonsense to me. Just more ways to make young women and girls feel like their sporting goals are invalid.
