🇬🇧❤️🇮🇩 Great news 🇬🇧❤️🇮🇩

Indonesia is off the UK’s red list of countries from 4am on Monday 11 October.

This means that after this time:
1. All arrivals from Indonesia can enter the UK directly, without quarantining in a government managed hotel. 🏨
2. VFS will soon be able to process visa applications for visit visas - not just ones that have residency rights. 🎟

It was also announced that Indonesia is 1 of 37 new countries, that the UK will recognise vaccine certificates from. 📜📯

This means those with a valid visa will be able to enter the UK, and will have either vaccinated or unvaccinated status.

✅ What counts as fully vaccinated? ✅

You must have had a complete course of one of the following vaccines at least 14 days before you arrive in England:

- Oxford/AstraZeneca (2 doses)
- Pfizer BioNTech (2 doses)
- Moderna (2 doses)
- Janssen (1 dose)

The day you have your final dose does not count as one of the 14 days.

Formulations of these vaccines, such as AstraZeneca Covishield, AstraZeneca Vaxzevria and Moderna Takeda, also qualify as approved vaccines.

You are allowed to mix doses of the vaccines above - that also counts as fully vaccinated.

Other vaccines are not currently recognised - and so those not vaccinated with the UK approved vaccines will need to follow the Non-vaccinated rules. 🙏

✅ 📜📯 Proving your status with a Vaccine certificate 📜📯✅
A vaccine certificate must be issued by a national or state-level public health authority, be in English, French or Spanish, and include as a minimum:

your forename and surname(s)
your date of birth
vaccine brand and manufacturer
date of vaccination for every dose
country or territory of vaccination and/or certificate issuer

✅💉 Vaccinated people must follow these rules 💉 ✅

If you meet the requirements above and count as fully vaccinated, these are the rules.

Before you travel to England you must:

- book and pay for a day 2 COVID-19 test – to be taken after arrival in England
- complete a passenger locator form – to be completed in the 48 hours before you arrive in England

You will need to enter your COVID-19 test booking reference number on your passenger locator form.

💉❌ People who do not qualify as vaccinated must follow these rules ❌💉

Before you travel to England you must:

1. take a COVID-19 test – to be taken in the 3 days before you travel to England
2. book and pay for day 2 and day 8 COVID-19 tests – to be taken after arrival in England

3. complete a passenger locator form – to be completed in the 48 hours before you arrive in England

After you arrive in England you must:

4. quarantine at home or in the place you are staying for 10 days

5. take your pre-booked COVID-19 test on or before day 2 and on or after day 8 – you must book these tests before you travel

You may be able to end quarantine early if you pay for a private COVID-19 test through the Test to Release scheme - you take this test on day 5.

If you are in England for less than 10 days, you need to quarantine for the time you are here. You need to book day 2 and day 8 travel tests. You only need to take the tests if you are still in England on those days.
