Wisdom from barnyard!
Perhaps some of you have noticed when a fly or bird lands on a cow, who is the earth personified, she shakes the particular muscle beneath the intruder when she wants to shoo them off. Likewise Mother Earth creates tremors when inspired to repel those bent Image
on disobeying her laws. Nature’s punishment may seem severe, yet it is always just. If you’ve had enough war, flu epidemics, eco-disasters, threats
of economic collapse, terrorism and the rest, have faith we can play a part in minimizing these
adversities. Karma is complicated,
no doubt, but we can substantially turn the tide by uniting to avoid
one thing: cow slaughter. If each one of us resolves not to participate in the torture and murder of cows, which means to cease consuming her flesh,
purchasing slaughterhouse byproducts and dairy products
obtained by violence, there will result a substantial change in the quality of life on the planet.
.
The old adage applies: What you plan to do tomorrow, do today. What you plan to do today, do
it now

I am all ears for your explanations!, says our bhargava. Our most precious little boy is gaining strength by leaps and bounds now. The feeding of colostrum and regular milk bottle intake have worked wonders and his frail, helpless body is transforming. He is certainly an
energetic and inquisitive young toddler who now moves around and discovering the gausadan premises for himself. This baal leela of his makes us follow him all day around which he noticed. He decided to take us into custody and interrogated us. We melted under his 'Third degree
cuteness' and confessed. 'O little bhargava, you are a benign gift from the lord himself. You appearance is angelic and conduct celestial. In this Kaliyuga, we humans have entangled ourselves in the mighty web of maya and remain starved of the divine bliss that sattvic vritti

Vasudev was just a newborn when he was torn from his mother and put on sale to butchers. Somehow, we could purchase him and brough him to our premises. When he arrived, he was frail, helpless and traumatized. After last many weeks of diligent care, he stands tall in our Image
gausadan – healthy, energetic and boisterous. He has gained a will to live and is flourishing like the padma (lotus) in morning Sun. All this became possible only due to prabhu’s Krupa and your support. Scores of other calves like him live a safe and happy life in our gausadan
due to your ‘karuna’ and ‘prema’ only. As we all welcome the divine mother during the auspicious Navratris, please do think of these hapless babies and our rescued cows and bulls.
Please kindly help us in our endeavors to serve cows. We purely depend on your mercy to rescue and

With those lovely ears like the flowering kush plant and saintly, innocent eyes, we are pretty sure that she had come to us by the very grace of the lotus feet. Little Sumedha has already seen a lot in her small life. In this age of rampant adharma when asuric vritti has turned Image
endemic, even such divine beings are not spared. This most blessed baby had found herself looking at the dark abyss of ill fate along with her mother. Both mother and daughter were sold off to butchers by their former owner. But who can kill when the protector of Gajendra
himself desires to save! With his prerna, we were able to rescue them both in the nick of time. A very merciful and devout gentleman Mr. Rajaram came forward to save these innocent gau vansh and purchased them off. He later handed them over to us. Both mother daughter duo arrived

It might appear weird, comical even, that a baby bull is searching under another calf. But what this picture actually portrays is rather tragic and completely heart wrenching. These baby boys were born in households/dairy farms. When they were just(1/6) Image
hours old, they were separated from their mothers and put on sale. They weren’t even allowed to drink from their mothers. To save them from falling into butcher’s hands, we purchase them and bring them here. Though they are cared for in every way and are provided with milk(2/6)
bottles and all their needs, but we really can’t provide them what they want the most at this age – their mother’s affection and warmth. Their innate desire is to search for their mother and drink from her udders. Obviously as she is nowhere to be found, the situation turns(3/6)

Siri:
Apple’s Siri: Virtual Assistant that helps with mundane things but costs you thousands of rupees and a kidney.
Our Siri: Divine Assistant of Krishna who just takes a little food and love and yet brings prabhu’s krupa for this and next many lifetimes
Siri came to us in Image
her mother Hema’s womb when she was rescued in February 2019. Hema was to be sold off to butchers. We purchased her and brought her here. Hema turned out to be so affectionate and maternal that she adopted an orphan baby bull Sundar on arrival and fostered him as her own. Siri
was born to her later in October 2019. Little Siri was always a boisterous calf & grew up amidst the loving care of her mother and foster brother. She has since grown up to be a confident & healthy young girl. She plays & makes merry all day bringing happiness to everyone around.

Sunday musings with Brahma! One of our favorite past times is to sit with our bulls and interact. Though such interactions may have happened endless times, but we are always awed each time with their one trait - Their eyes. Yes, their dark and deep eyes. Eyes full of serenity Image
like they hold an ocean of spiritual wisdom imbibed from the nature. From the dusty, old bulls that have suffered years of abuse on streets to young toddlers born in loving households, everyone shows the same ethereal tranquility. Eyes full of permanence like they fully
understand the ever-shifting character of life and yet have achieved a sync with the flow of things. Eyes full of affection like they still connect to their pious souls in this world of Maya. Eyes full of innocence like their inherent divinity still shines through their hapless
