PM Modi participated virtually in G20 Summit on Afghanistan today.

Stressed on preventing Afghan territory from becoming source of radicalisation & terrorism. Also called for urgent &unhindered humanitarian assistance to Afghan citizens & an inclusive administration, says PM.
PM Modi also underlined need to ensure that Afghan territory doesn't become a source of radicalisation & terrorism, regionally or globally. He emphasised on need to enhance joint fight against the nexus of radicalisation, terrorism & smuggling of drugs and arms in the region:PMO
PM Modi called for an inclusive administration in Afghanistan. He conveyed support for the important role of the United Nations in Afghanistan and called for renewed support of the G20 for the message contained in UN Security Council Resolution 2593 on Afghanistan: PMO

One Pakistani national Mohd Asraf was arrested by Delhi Police Special cell, yesterday. He has been in India for more than a decade using Indian identity. Initial probe revealed his involvement as sleeper cell, orchestrating subversive activities:DCP Special Cell Pramod Kushwaha
He revealed his involvement in several terrorist activities in J&K , the rest of India... Lately, he was tasked to carry out terror activities, the place was not mentioned. He has been trained by Pakistan ISI... We are trying to identify his other associates: DCP Special Cell
He got several fake ids made, one such was under the name of Ahmed Noori. He had acquired Indian passport too, travelled to Thailand and Saudi Arabia. He married an Indian woman in Ghaziabad for documents; had acquired Indian id in Bihar: DCP Special Cell Pramod Kushwaha

Delhi Police Special Cell arrests a terrorist of Pakistani nationality from Ramesh Park, Laxmi Nagar. He was living with a fake ID of an Indian national. One AK-47 assault rifle with one extra magazine and 60 rounds, one hand grenade, 2 sophisticated pistols with 50 rounds seized
Relevant provisions of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, Explosive Act, Arms Act & other provisions being invoked against the man, identified as Mohd Asraf, a resident of Pakistan's Punjab. A search has been conducted at his present address at Ramesh Park, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi.

There're areas that need greater focus. I'm aware, of the importance Secy General has placed on combatting terrorism & we commend the work of UNOCT. But terrorism as a priority has been dealt with rather cursorily in the report: Indian Ambassador/Dy Permanent Representative to UN
In fact, the word terrorism appears only twice in the report whereas “climate change” appears more than 20 times & the word “climate” more than 70 times: R Ravindra, Indian Ambassador/Deputy Permanent Representative to UN
