What to expect during today’s countdown: at T-45 minutes, our crew will depart the Astronaut Training Center and move to the launch tower to go through preparations for crew capsule ingress.
At T-33 minutes in the countdown, astronauts will load into the crew capsule and get strapped into their seats. The capsule hatch will close at T-24 minutes and the Terminal Count Ready Report from Mission Control will be at T-10 minutes.
#NewShepard’s flight profile lasts approximately 11 minutes from liftoff to capsule landing. Astronauts will experience three to four minutes of weightlessness and travel above the Kármán Line, the internationally recognized boundary of space.

Today marks the first time in history a commercial company will launch a privately funded and built spacecraft from a private launch range with astronauts on board.
Following today’s mission, crew member Wally Funk, 82, will be the oldest person to have flown in space. And Oliver Daemen, 18, will be the youngest.
