1/ I think @EponymNFT has a recipe for massive success. Each piece is unique and enjoyable to look at. Some you have to figure out/create your own meaning for. That’s art. Titles created by minters is also unique and engaging. One might connect to the art, or the title, or both.
2/ When you look at these your brain knows what it’s looking at is art. Some are a bit more clear than others. Some are up for interpretation. All done by AI, which makes it that much more impressive. Years from now I think this could be a classic NFT collection.
3/ Classic, because the art is top notch and the methods used are forward thinking. AI taking text from minters and creating fine, unique art. It’s impressive. Seeing how the AI has crafted some of these phrases into artworks is profound.
4/ Classic, because of the cultural relevance during the time of drop. Some of these titles have terminology that is telling of the times. Early NFT lingo, COVID related titles, memes, etc. Good art is a reflection of the time it was made.
5/
If I’m not mistaken, the creators just announced a 2 for 1 swapping mechanism for Gen 2 Eponyms. This is also promising. The swapping mechanics PLUS the fact there will be a Gen 2. Will their be a Gen 3, 4, etc? This gives Gen 1 (genesis) pieces more value (presumably).
6/
You have your collections like artblocks, currency, etc and I think @EponymNFT has everything it needs to be the next collection to reach a similar status. The unique combination of AI art and titles chosen by minters creates a very engaging and personal experience.
7/ People form very intimate connections with these pieces for different reasons. The art, the title, etc. I think people will find pride and joy in owning these in a similar way you see collectors finding pride and joy in owning Fidenzas, Squiggles, etc. It’s special IMO!
