What I've learnt the most in 2021 is the power of leverage, which can be breakdown into 3 different types:

1. Leverage on your time
2. Leverage on capital
3. Leverage on people

Also with leverage comes leveraged risk, if you're willing to take the risk, leveraged gave you so much reward out from it.

1. Leverage on time

When you got nothing in place, time is the resources that you can use, leverage it to build capital and relationship. Time is an abundance when you got nothing to lose, use it to upskill yourself.

Once you had capital and connection, this is something you should value the most.

2. Leverage on capital
It can be your capital or other capital, but in this market capital normally are cheap. Leverage on capital doesn't just apply to trading, but also to everything you build.

At the end of the day, everything in society comes with a price, which is how the market perceived certain things to be valued, but with your own capital, you can make sure that the capital you put in will have a better economic output aka positive economical value (+EV).

Instead of you learning about Photoshop, pay somebody professional to do a photo edit for you.

3. Leverage on people

Leverage on people is one of the best methods to grow everything that you got. But people come with a risk of some uncertainty, but as long as both parties incentives are aligned, you can save so much time and effort.

Also invest in people in long term always gives you back a lot of things unexpectedly. Work + invest with people that are long term minded, and you can get a lot more out of it in a long run.

I learn all these things over the years from people wiser and richer than me and also by watching Naval's podcast recently solidify all my thoughts about leverage
