Big fan of Dr. Sridhar, but I was equally hard on the IPC2021 conference.

Are you, #RCGP #RCGPAC people... insane? Why? What happened to stopping transmission?
UK's GP's could have predicted they would spread CoVid at the conference.

My god. The irony.
Very. Few. Masks.
Ah, hello? Singing produces a lot of respiratory aerosols.
Physics in the UK must just be different.

My bad.

A NEW Colorado Chicken farm outbreak with 1.34 million.

The one with 5 people confirmed infected, 64 pending, has 1.8 million, 10-14 days of work.

CDC team of 10 has just been dispatched for the 1.8 million.

The farms are about 35 minutes apart (thank you @0bFuSc8!)

Holy airborne H5N1.

69 symptomatic workers, 5 positive so far?

150 on antivirals?
It's always been airborne.

This means that it is more transmissible to the humans than before.

Not Covid levels. Probably not even original WT level.

But more transmissible to the humans than before.
Homeland Security moved to Level 2.

I get it. You need a place to decompress.

So, the Covid Careful tend to take umbrage to outdoor transmission studies.

Outdoors IS safer. But study after study has shown outdoor transmission.

As do these 2 studies.

Catching Covid Camping.

I deliberately began this thread with white men, because the only countries doing these detailed studies are Asian countries. As is this one.

But every time, a tinge of ethnocentrism creeps into replies. Please keep this in mind :) .
Many don't know that measles is airborne outdoors based on an hour long conversation with a young boy and his family, after the Special Olympics. No CCTV. No credit card tracing. No GPS.

Our first study? July 24–26, 2020. South Korea. South Korea had done an

Great summary below. Some important info not discussed by Dr. Hirschson.

This study adds to RECONFIRMING H5N1 is airborne.

Since seeing is believing, you are one of the VERY FIRST to see what H5N1 aerosols do to a cow lung.

This study is by the USDA.

As I have, & will continue to point out, @nirav_uscdc, they continue to ensure dairy workers are NOT told to wear N95s. Or PAPR as indicated would be more comfortable by @RanuDhillon @sri_srikrishna.

But worn here in their lab. By them.

Aerosols, 3-5 microns, were nebulized into the cows nostrils.

Correction to the study...SOME of those that size will deposit into the Lower Respiratory Tract. Not all. Some will deposit into the Upper Respiratory Tract.

Some will be exhaled, and inhaled again.

Can someone show me in the Secret Service manual where it tells them to stand for a photo - on order of a POTUS who has just been shot?
Amazing that the flag just happened to stretched perfectly sideways, framing Trump in that patch of blue.

The Secret Service holding him like the soldiers holding up the flag on Iwo Jima.

Like Trump is the symbol of America.

Um folks? 55 symptomatic H5N1 workers.

@amymaxmen @RickABright @Alexander_Tin @jeremyfaust @farrar
☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️@JeremyFarrar
Ok, 55 could be any number of scenarios,, but poultry workers in cull operations tend to be in RPE like N95 or better.

So, most likely spread between workers at lunch, after work, etc.

But that is worse, because then we have human to human and we just wuhan'd the world.
