He theorizes that the magnetosphere works like a "faraday cage", like a net harnessing the dark plasma aka ghosts.

This made me think of the plasma reset event and how a dark plasma storm could be unleashed containing the dark plasma beings when a certain saturation of the field is reached.
In my visions I see this as what I describe as a giant shadow.
