@Hadithoftheday True.
It was there during the night journey that Allah gave this ummah the gift of compulsory Salah.
At that time Allah made five-time prayers obligatory for Muslims, the prayers were fifty in the beginning but Prophet ﷺ requested to Allah & reduced them to five.
@Hadithoftheday On the night of the Mi’raaj, when Prophet ﷺ was taken up into heaven, Allah initially enjoined fifty prayers to be performed night and day. Then the Prophet ﷺ kept asking his Lord to reduce it until it became five prayers to be offered night and day.
@Hadithoftheday Allah decreed the reward of fifty prayers for these five, so whoever prays five prayers will receive the reward of fifty prayers.
The Prayers are five with regard to what is to be done, but they are fifty with regard to the reward.
@Hadithoftheday Narrated Abu Dharr R.A, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,
Allah enjoined upon my ummah fifty prayers, and I came back until I passed by Musa who said, ‘What has Allah enjoined upon your ummah?’ I said, ‘He has enjoined fifty prayers.’ +
@Hadithoftheday He said, ‘Go back to your Lord, for your ummah will not be able to bear that.’ So I went back and He reduced it. Then I came back to Moosa and said, ‘He has reduced it.’ He said, ‘Go back to your Lord, for your ummah will not be able to bear that.’ +
@Hadithoftheday So I went back and He reduced it further. Then I came back to Moosa and said, ‘He has reduced it further.’ He said, ‘Go back to your Lord, for your ummah will not be able to bear that.’ So I went back and He said, ‘(The prayers) are five but (the reward) is fifty. +
@Hadithoftheday Then I went back to Moosa and he said, ‘Go back to your Lord.’ But I said, ‘I feel shy before my Lord.’…”
(Narrated by Sahih Bukhaari,Muslim)
@Hadithoftheday After Isra, Muhammad (ﷺ) was ascended to the heavens and beyond. With a special ladder and on the burāq, in the company of angels, Muḥammad (ﷺ) ascends. Crossing the seven skies, he is welcomed and greeted by various prophets in the heavens.
@Hadithoftheday After crossing the seven skies, Muḥammad ﷺ witnessed the Sidrat Al-Muntahāʿ, which is the divine lote-tree station that separates the earthly creations and the heavenly creations.
@Hadithoftheday Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was given an impressive tour of both Hell and Paradise.
In hell, He ﷺ saw all kinds of people receiving different kinds of punishments.
In Paradise Prophet ﷺ saw all kinds of blessings and gifts that the dwellers of heaven enjoyed.
@Hadithoftheday Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) met with His Lord Allah on this blesses night and spoke about the prayers. At that time Allah Almighty made five-time prayers obligatory for Muslims, the prayers were fifty in the beginning but Prophet ﷺ requested to Allah & reduced them to five.
@Hadithoftheday Upon return home to Makkah, in the morning, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ announces some of the details of his miraculous journey. He is faced with denial, rejection and mockery. Muhammad ﷺ is interrogated & found to be accurate in every aspect of the interrogation.
@Hadithoftheday When later questioned about it, Prophet ﷺ was able to recount the details of this journey, the places, buildings, & even the caravan that was on its way from Jerusalem with perfect accuracy; this not only verified his claims & discredited the Quraysh mockery.

Sidrat-ul-Muntahāʿ, is the divine lote-tree station that separates the earthly creations and the heavenly creations.
Sidrat-ul Muntaha marks the utmost boundary in the seventh heaven, which no one can pass.
@Hadithoftheday It is called Sidrat al-Muntaha because the knowledge of the angels stops at that point, and no one has gone beyond it except the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ.
After crossing the seven skies in the journey of Mi'raj, Muhammad ﷺ witnessed the Sidrat Al-Muntahā.
@Hadithoftheday In the famous hadeeth about Mi’raj (ascent into heaven), the Prophet ﷺ said that when Jibreel A.S took him up into the heavens, he went through from one heaven to the next by the command of Allah, until he reached the 7th heaven. He said: "Then I was taken to Sidrat al-Muntaha+
@Hadithoftheday Al-Kawthar.
Al-Kawthar is a river in Paradise which Allaah has given to His Prophet ﷺ.
Allah says in Qur'an:
"Indeed, We have granted you, [O Muhammad], al-Kawthar."
(Qur'an. Al-Kawthar 108: Verse 1)
@Hadithoftheday Narrated from Ibn Umar R.A that the Prophet ﷺ said: “Al-Kawthar is a river in Paradise. Its banks are made of gold and its bed is of pearls and rubies…” - (Tirmidhi)
@Hadithoftheday Narrated Anas R.A: Whilst we were with the Prophet ﷺ, he dozed off then he raised his head and he was smiling. We said, “Why are you smiling, O Messenger of Allah?” He said: “A soorah has been revealed to me.” And he recited:
@Hadithoftheday Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
When Prophet Muhammad ﷺ reached Al-Aqsa, there waiting inside were all 124,000 Prophets. Jibraeel A.S led the Prophet ﷺ to the front,& he led them all in prayer in that blessed space.
This is one of the reason that Muhammad ﷺ is called as "Imam-Ul-Anbiya"
@Hadithoftheday With regard to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ’s leading other prophets in prayer, the Night Journey was of great significance in more ways than one.
For the Prophets to pray together at Jerusalem signifies the continuity of their messages and their unity of rank and purpose.
@Hadithoftheday That unique prayer of the Prophets, led by Muhammad ﷺ, also signifies that Islam has completed all Divine messages and brought them to their final form.
The Prophet ﷺ said, "On the night of my Ascent to the Heaven...I saw Jesus, a man of medium height & moderate complexion inclined to the red & white colors & of lank hair. I also saw Malik, gate-keeper of the (Hell) Fire & Ad-Dajjal (Bukhari 3239)
@Hadithoftheday Narrated Ibn Abbas:
The Prophet ﷺ said, On the night of my Ascent to the Heaven, I saw Musa who was a tall brown curlyhaired man as if he was one of the men of Shanawa tribe,& I saw Isa, a man of medium height,moderate complexion inclined to the red & white colors & of lankhair+
@Hadithoftheday I also saw Malik, the gate-keeper of the (Hell) Fire & Ad-Dajjal amongst the signs which Allah showed me.(The Prophet then recited the Verse):
"So be not you in doubt of meeting him' when you met Moses during the night of Mi'raj over the heavens" (32.23) - (Sahih Bukhari -3239)
Buraydah Narrates, Once a Bedouin asked for a miracle while we were with Allah's Messenger on an expedition. The Messenger pointed to a tree and told him: 'Tell that tree that Allah's Messenger summons it. +
@Hadithoftheday The tree swayed, freed itself, and drew near to the Messenger, saying: 'Peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah!' The Bedouin said: 'Now tell it to return to its place.' When Allah's Messenger ordered it to do so, the tree went back.
@Hadithoftheday After the revelation on many occasions, stones and trees would greet the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ with the following: ‘Peace be upon you O Messenger of Allah’
Umar Ibn Al Khattab R.A was the man whom Satan feared and would take another route indeed to avoid him.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, the Shaitaan (Satan) never meets you (Umar ibn Al Khattab R.A) on a road except that he takes a different road.”
(Sahih Muslim)
Allah's Messenger ﷺ said, "O' Ibn Al-Khattab! By Him in Whose Hands my life is, whenever Satan sees you taking a way, he follows a way other than yours!" - (Sahih Bukhari)
