Senatorial aspirant Neri Colmenares: Ito ang issue ngayon, we are going to unite sana to oppose the return of the Marcoses and President Duterte in Malacañang. #TheFilipinoVotes

Colmenares: It is clear we are part of the opposition, so I hope kilala naman ng lahat yan. #TheFilipinoVotes

Colmenares: Marami kaming activists at human rights defenders na namatay under President Duterte precisely because he considers us as part of the opposition at very scathing yung attacks namin sa kanya and he is intolerant of dissent, we know that. #TheFilipinoVotes

Colmenares: I'm not saying the other political parties did not suffer deaths, or may mga arrested sila or posible may mga patay din sila, but I'm saying we are genuinely opposing President Duterte. #TheFilipinoVotes

Colmenares: We did not support President Duterte in 2016. In fact that is already clear para sa amin. #TheFilipinoVotes

Colmenares: The good thing is there are efforts to unify the opposition, the other good thing is nag-didisintegrate ang Duterte alliance. #TheFilipinoVotes

Colmenares: Candidates themselves should not be swayed by voices on social media. If they want to unite, they should do that. Is that possible still? (1/2) #TheFilipinoVotes

Colmenares: Well, it's more difficult now, nagsasagutan na yung mga presidential candidates, but I would like to think somewhere along the way, only one of them can win. And therefore they should support each other. (2/2) #TheFilipinoVotes

Colmenares says they wanted to talk to Vice President Robredo but were not able to do so: We are still hopeful. #TheFilipinoVotes

Colmenares: When VP Robredo excluded me from her announced slate, my position and our position is it's her prerogative. It's her prerogative to choose her senators. I don't think I'm in the position to tell her what to do. #TheFilipinoVotes

Colmenares: Maybe I could agree or disagree with some of the slate, but in the end it's her choice. So, I don't think I would intervene sa kanyang slate and tell her. #TheFilipinoVotes

Colmenares says the issue of objections from Trillanes was never raised in discussion: I have no interest in diverting attention to that. #TheFilipinoVotes

Colmenares: We cannot have another 6 years of pinamimigay ang ating mga yaman dagat sa Tsina. We cannot have that... Survival is at stake kaya iba ang requirement sa lahat ngayon. #TheFilipinoVotes

Colmenares: We can demand from the candidates to unite, but we must also show among ourselves to unite. #TheFilipinoVotes

Colmenares says he is pushing for free healthcare to combat the pandemic: Kaya ng gobyerno matustusan ang libreng gamot at libreng pagamot... Kung kaya natin mangako ng free tuition, we can do free healthcare, para sa lahat without any qualms. #TheFilipinoVotes

Colmenares: COVID response must not only be vaccine centered. There must also be contact tracing, mass testing. Unless we do all these things, paulit-ulit lang ang COVID. #TheFilipinoVotes
