TUSC's Glasgow/West/Central Scotland meeting to organise a socialist challenge for the council elections next year is about to start. It's not too late to join in:

The purpose of the meetings is to raise the idea of standing anti-cuts candidates next year. #Nocuts. TUSC has @RMT_Scotland and @SPS_socialist aswell as leading community campaigners and trade unionists involved.

Due to cuts people will have no choice but to use their cars bc of cuts to Scotland's Railway. Six Months to save our Railway! All people should have access to our Railway but the poorest are barred by cost.

MH- Demo next Thurs at Scottish Parliament.
RMT have been stonewalled by government and denied pay rises for several years despite being key workers- contrast that to the bonuses of bosses.

Pay rises are no way near good enough and are tied to booking office closures etc- reduces accessibility esp for disabled people etc.

We need staff in stations to help vulnerable people. The offer is a kick in the teeth to loyal rail workers. RMT are using COP26 to focus minds. We need a resolution on pay for workers. We have a massive mandate for industrial action. We will take action every day of COP26

Fighting for justice and climate justice.

Now Chris Sermani convener for social work Glasgow City Unison. last decade has seen real terms pay cut and service closures. Austerity is still on going. 400 MILLION stolen from Glasgow over last few years and 100s of millions in next 3 years. Plus equal pay fight still on going

Pandemic-state intervention to protect the rich not to help workers or the poor.

Local government pay offer was a slap in the face for Key workers in LAs. Lead to bad feeling in work force. Socialists know the cost of Covid will be met by the working class. That has already started e.g. venues closing in Glasgow Life. But grassroots campaigners fighting back

Refuse workers and school workers will be going on strike around COP26 as a direct result of the real terms pay cut pay offer. It's really important that ordinary workers go out and get there voices heard during COP26- ordinary folk suffer while bigwigs get red carpet

CS Equal Pay- council intend to dump original deal. Not illegal but immoral. Glasgow city unison are consulting members for action. All mainstream parties, Lab, SNP complicit. Real anger at how the women who fought so bravely are being treated.

CS workers should look to TUSC for a genuine socialist alternative. Lab, Greens are not for workers. TUSC are the only proven fighters in the interests of the working class in at recent elections.

MH- SNP have been shafting workers for years and it will continue unless workers fight back.
Green party have sold their soul for a ministerial bike- RMT will call them out, we are leading by example.

CS we need fighters people to stand up and say no to Cuts, invest in public services! Make TUSC into a workers party. The mainstream parties offer nothing to workers- we need representation.
