- being a good partner to your SME, e.g. listening, documenting, translating their knowledge, challenging their assumptions and their data...
- cultivating your network so you can collaborate and share skills/resources...
- noticing when you ask a good question that helps move the project forward, and then writing it down to develop your expertise...
- keeping the client focused on the goal of the visualization and meeting your audience at their current level of interest and attention...
