1| The plan to sabotage and cause maximum damage worked. This is our erstwhile beautiful tomato crop at #ESidakeni following sustained water interruptions, diversions and disruptions by Dumisani Madzivanyati (a holder of an offer letter for our farm). It's completely destroyed.
2| This person is not a farmer. He was clearly sent by his comrades whom we have named in court to sabotage & financially cripple us.We'll sue him for everything he owns.Meanwhile, we await the court decision on our application for leave to evict him pending his frivolous appeal.
3| Zimbabwe is going nowhere with these kind of people. Nowhere! We will fight to the very bitter end.

26 years ago today, my father died; suddenly, unexpectedly. It was a Sunday & I had last spoken to him from Harare on the phone the day before on Saturday evening. A rare thing because we hardly spoke on the phone, ever. He had asked me to come & see him at Parliament on Tuesday.
2| I had expressed doubt because on that same day I had been injured playing soccer at the UZ inter faculty games.I'd spent the afternoon at Parirenyatwa trying to get help but had given up waiting as the casualty dept battled to attend to a car accident that had many casualties.
3| My older brother Busi, broke the news to me.He called my room at the UZ. As subwarden I had a phone. "Boyz there's been an accident" "Yebo, ubani? I asked casually. "UMyopic" (his nickname) he replied. "Kalimalanga," I asked."Its worse" he responded. The phone fell off my hand.
1/ Today I attended the commemoration of the end of the Gukurahundi genocide which was brought about by the Unity Accord between PF ZAPU & Zanu PF. I had the honour & privilege to speak at the event. Before I share what I said in my remarks I would like to share some observations.
2/ I was struck by the extraordinarily high police presence. There were more police than participants. The police cld argue they put most of their pple to support but given the history of conduct this cld only have been meant to intimidate pple from not attending. And it worked.
3/The behaviour of the police was generally appropriate except for their unlawful refusal for the organizers to carry a mock coffin during the march from Joshua Nkomo statue to Stanley Hall. It's not clear on what basis they did so & unwilling to be deterred, organisers relented.
1/ What is treason? Everybody who criticizes the government, calls on people to exercise their power to pressure the govt to resign or calls for the government to go is charged with it. Remember that the VP Chiwenga was accused of treason by Mugabe in that statement by SK Moyo.
2/ He had warned Mugabe against purging Comrades and threatened that the army would not stand aside and watch this happen. This was after ED had run to exile.
3/ Almost every leader worth his salt in Zanu PF and PF Zapu was charged with treason by Ian Smith. This was even before they waged the armed struggle. Their crime was to call for the removal or overthrow of the unlawful & racist Rhodesian regime. We called them freedom fighters.
