just don't really know how I want my lines/shading to look :*)
I'm just floundering through them and if it looks okay it was a total accident, haha
I never stop a picture like "yes, it is done, I am satisfied," it's always "oh fuck I have no idea how to take this further and I'm lost in the weeds and I have to stop now or it's only gonna get worse"
the small, but noticeable backlash against Stray is equal parts funny and exhausting. game time as a value metric is poison
Stray is an extremely unique concept among games, with a generous handful of extremely dense, bespoke environments with loads to interact with, and isn't even full price, but because it's 6-7 hours it's apparently trash
it is extremely funny watching angry "this game sucks" steam threads being flooded with people replying "meow"
playing kingdom hearts 2 again as an adult like "this is preteen shlock" and then sora sheds the single tear leaving twilight town and isn't sure why and it's π₯Ίπ
nostalgia once again trumps a revilement of disney, they can't keep getting away with it
so New Worlds has a massive, catastrophic exploit that's extremely easy and game-breaking and is apparently such a deep-level issue it would take almost an entire rewrite to fix
if you play in windowed mode and click and drag the title bar of the window, no server information can reach your client until you stop doing that
your character is totally invincible (on a capture point in a PVP match for example) until you stop doing that
this is funny in its own right, but the actual meat of the issue is that the brain geniuses at Amazon's game studio have created an MMO where data parity is client-authored. the CLIENT has the final say on what happened, not the server
