the small, but noticeable backlash against Stray is equal parts funny and exhausting. game time as a value metric is poison
Stray is an extremely unique concept among games, with a generous handful of extremely dense, bespoke environments with loads to interact with, and isn't even full price, but because it's 6-7 hours it's apparently trash

so New Worlds has a massive, catastrophic exploit that's extremely easy and game-breaking and is apparently such a deep-level issue it would take almost an entire rewrite to fix
if you play in windowed mode and click and drag the title bar of the window, no server information can reach your client until you stop doing that
your character is totally invincible (on a capture point in a PVP match for example) until you stop doing that

thinking more about it. fusing PC and console Warframe into one ecosystem is going to be *extremely* difficult and while the overall effect is going to be good, there's no way that everyone's gonna be happy

Last night I decided I'd finally play Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, since Abe's Exoddus is easily one of my fav puzzle platformers ever and New n' Tasty turned out to be kinda piss
WOW the sequel was an improvement, haha
I'm having fun but boy there's some frustrating dickish trial and error in this one
and this was back on PS1. the first game had no quick save so it was either a lengthy memory card hard save between attempts are returning to sparse checkpoints

starting to feel aloof with GW2 as I pass 55 on this Engineer. I know the way I'm playing (braindead camping in FT kit) is like, fine for world content but useless elsewhere, and otherwise it's blinding fast APM switching through these fucking kits and memorizing cooldowns

I haven't played WF in almost a year now but I follow content creators for it because some form of long term investment in how it turns out, and the cycle recently has just been so demoralizing
"oh, this new frame looks really cool and powerful/this new content looks pretty rewarding"
"oh, okay they showed it off in the dev stream and it didn't look very good but there may still be time for it to improve"
